This wall clock has a selectable 12-hour or 24-hour display format and has PM and alarm indicators. The 2.5;H x 1.25W bright red LED digits are easily seen from across the room in darkness as well as in light. Both the clock and alarm time can be set on the unit itself or by remote control. Works on standard AC120V wall power only. The battery backup compartment included uses a 9V battery, not included is not to be used as a main power source, but to maintain settings in the instance of a power outage.
