The Starrett T444.1XRL-2 Outside Micrometer is a high-quality tool that measures to within 0.0001" with a flat anvil and carbide face. The micrometer has a range of 1" to 2", making it suitable for measuring the outside diameters of cylinders, discs, etc. It also features a knurled ring lock nut which is easy to tighten and loosen when needed.
