Silica Thickener, Quart Tub

This material is also referred to as colloidal or hydrophilic fumed silica. The average particle size of this material is 0.2 to 0.3 microns. It's an excellent thixotropic agent and can be used to control the viscosity of mixed epoxy systems. Silica Thickener can also be used alone to create a very smooth, non-sagging, high-strength mixture. It can also be combined with other fillers or fibers to make them non-sagging.
