TCI Precision Metals 316 Stainless Steel 2-Side Machine-Ready Blanks are precision ground or milled on 2-sides thickness to +/-.002in. Width and length are saw cut to +.063-0in. Parts are flat, square surface to edge, and parallel ready for machining. Every Machine-Ready Blank is deburred, cleaned, individually packaged for shipping, and arrives ready to load directly into your CNC machining center.
- •316 stainless steel plate is excellent for harsh environment applications, including marine, chemical, and industrial. 316 stainless provides excellent high temperature tensile, creep and stress-rupture strength, as well as outstanding formability and weldability. This material type has lower carbon content than other alloys, making it popular for heavy-gauge welded applications.
