3/8 in Drive 90 Geared Teeth Pear Hand Ratchet, Polished

Tekton 3/8 inch drive folding ratchets have a 90-tooth gear that produces a working swing arc of 4 degrees. The single half-moon pawl maintains 9 teeth engaged with the gear at all times, ensuring that it won't slip or skip under stress. The classic non-quick-release drive tang retains sockets with a spring-actuated detent ballpush the sockets onto the ratchet and pull to remove them. The non-locking joint gives the handle a continuous of motion. It's designed with just the right amount of friction so that the handle won't flop around. Unlike conventional "low profile" designs that focus on controlling only the thickness of the head, we reduced the size in every dimension: length, width, and height. Tekton ratchets meet (and most far exceed) the industry standard for proof torque, a measure of strength verified by a single-cycle test that applies torque until the specified value is reached without failure or any permanent deformation.
