The jackets of the hammers are made from a hot cast polyurethane that's highly resistant to chipping, cracking, and tearing. The contoured handles and their textured surfaces provide a comfortable, nonslip grip for hammering, and the ends of the handles flare out to prevent them from slipping out of your hand.
