About Tension Springs
Spring plungers are excellent devices to position within drawers, doors, or in mechanical die parts. A spring plunger is used as a locking mechanism to unite two separate components. They have a threaded capsule design with an enclosed spring, which produces a spring-force action. The force applies pressure to the nose of the plunger so that it stays in position to join objects. Spring plungers are excellent to use in woodworking and metalworking applications, and our spring loaded plungers feature varying torque ranges and thread sizes to securely fit your apparatus. If looking for additional small parts, we offer a dowel pin selection in differing sizes of steel alloy, wood, and nylon construction. Our spring pin assortment has kits that supply many different sized pins, and be sure to check out our springs for more options.
