High speed steel ground threads tmx fast spiral hand tap with straight flutes - available in two chamfer styles: plug chamfer has 3-5 thread chamfer length and bottoming chamfer has 1-2 thread length. 1" - 8 h3, fast spiral, bottoming chamfer, hss tmx tap, ground. fast spiral taps move the chip up the flute and away from the cut thus reducing thread damage and double cutting of chips. Recommended for tapping of softer materials that product a stringy type chip
