Bleeding Control Kit, Standard with SWAT-T

True Rescue's Bleeding Control Kit comes in three different variations: Standard, Intermediate, and Premium. Each kit builds upon the last, providing additional tools to help control traumatic bleeding along the way. Standard Kit - Our Standard Kit includes all the essentials when it comes to controlling traumatic blood loss. A tourniquet, used to occlude blood flow in both upper & lower extremities. Compressed, wound packing gauze, used to pack wounds and wrap injuries. Emergency Trauma Dressing, used to apply immediate & direct pressure. Nitrile Responder Gloves (latex & powder free). Trauma Shears to cut through the toughest material. Survival blanket to preserve body heat. A permanent marker to notate the time tourniquet was applied. And lastly, an instruction card to aid in the application of the tourniquet, wound packing gauze, and emergency trauma dressing. Intermediate Kit - Building upon our Standard Kit, the Intermediate Kit incorporates (2) HyFin Vent Compact Chest Seals. Vented chest seals are used to treat patients with penetrating chest trauma, particularly those with entry & exit wounds (gunshot wounds being a common example). The unique design allows air to escape the chest cavity during exhalation, but not make it's way back in during inhalation. Each seal is coated in an adhesive gel, allowing it to be successfully applied in the presence of blood, sweat, or other bodily fluids.
