Description
This apparatus is useful for holding objects that are too large for standard clamps, such as glass distillation columns and odd-shaped glassware. Chain and support band are made of strong chrome-plated brass, and support rod is constructed of stainless steel. Chain links bend to conform to the shape of the object being held. The tension spring locks chain links in place to firmly hold objects. Chain is 21in long and can be adjusted to support apparatus from 2in to 6.5in in diameter. Support rod is 0.46in in diameter with a length of 8.5in. The tips have an ABS coating with a working temperature range of -20 Degrees C to 80 Degrees C.
