The DG16V-N Turbo Gas Shawarma & Gyro Machine is a heavy-duty, commercial-grade vertical broiler engineered for shawarma, gyro, doner, or similar meat-spit cooking in restaurants, food trucks, or commercial kitchens. Imported from Greece and built in stainless steel, this unit offers robust performance and durability under continuous use. Main Features & Design The gas unit is designed with the motor mounted at the bottom, protecting it from heat and ensuring longevity. Eight double ceramic burners generate a total of 96,000 BTU, providing powerful, even heat for cooking large meat spits thoroughly and efficiently. The burner system is adjustable: rear heating elements can move closer or farther from the meat, allowing control of cooking intensity without repositioning the spit. Each burner zone has its own control, allowing precise heat management across the spit. A removable drip tray and burner-protection mesh simplify cleanup and maintenance. Rounded edges on the stainless-steel body facilitate easy cleaning and safer operation. Capacity & Performance Meat capacity ranges from approximately 175 to 200 lb (79-91 kg), allowing large-volume cooking - ideal for busy kitchens or high-throughput operations. The spit height is approximately 32.75in, supporting full cones of stacked meat for traditional gyro or shawarma servings. The spit motor runs on 110 V. Construction & Utility The body and spit are constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel - reliable against corrosion and wear, and easy to sanitize for food-service compliance. The unit is configured for natural gas but can be converted to propane (with included connections; regulator installation required). Gas hookup is a 1/2in rear-inlet line. Dimensions: roughly 23in (W) x 27in (D) x 41in (H). Includes a stainless-steel meat shovel and a grease/juice collecting tray - practical accessories that help daily kitchen workflow.
