The type 27 flat disc shape is ideal for smooth grinding, blending, and finishing on flat surfaces and slight contours from 0° – 15° while the 40 grit abrasive grain is best for edge beveling, chamfering, weld grinding, and blending with a grinder. The 5/8" open arbor offers a cost-effective mounting option when using adapting nuts.
