Weldcote 308L Has The Same Analysis As Type 308 Except The Carbon Content Has Been Held To A Maximum Of .03% To Reduce The Possibility Of Intergranular Carbide Precipitation. 308L Stainless Steel Is Used For Tib, Mig And Submerged Arc Welding Of Stainless Steels Such As Types 201, 202, 301, 302, 304L, 305, 308L, 321, And 347. This Filler Metal Is Suitable For Applications At Cryogenic Temperatures.
