If your dryer is making an unusual noise during operation, the dryer drum won't spin, if it takes too long to dry your clothes, or if the dryer drum isn't producing enough heat, replacing this part may alleviate the issues. No adhesive is required for this updated design that stretches to fit the drum. Note that the seal does not include plastic retainers; reuse the old retainers from the existing part. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.
