If the existing seal is damaged, allowing moisture to enter the motor and causing the ice dispenser to stop working, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This small white plastic part measures approx. 1-1/8 D. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
