This Top Load Washer Water Inlet Valve Assembly allows hot and cold water to fill in the washer. This assembly includes the hot and cold water valves with a built-in thermistor that monitors the water inlet temperature and relays the information back to the washer's control board. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
