This Refrigerator Center Door Hinge makes for smooth opening and closing of your freezer door. If the hinge has been damaged or has worn out making opening and closing the door difficult, this part may need to be replaced. To replace the old hinge, you'll first need to remove the freezer door. After the freezer door is removed, tape the refrigerator door shut and then remove the screws from the center hinge, just loosening the third screw. You'll slide the refrigerator door to the left slightly to remove the hinge. Check the washers on the hinge sold separately. They may also need to be replaced.
