The Dryer Cycle Selector Switch lets you choose cycle settings on the dryer. The most common reason for replacing the selector switch is when the temperature selector is not changing the temperature of the drying. To change out this part, you'll open the control panel. Depending on your dyer model, you'll either use a putty knife under the panel and release the clips holding it in place, or pull out the control panel's side clips out and unscrew it to release it. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.
