WP67003753 Whirlpool Refrigerator Inlet Valve

The SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator's water dispenser and ice maker. The package includes the new inlet water valve, instructions, tubing and a plastic coupler. If water isn't entering the ice maker and dispenser in your appliance, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. The new part's wire connections are on the back of the unit and the valve includes a push to lock fitting that doesn't require a nut to attach the tubing. You'll have to remove the old style compression fittings around the water line and trim, then push the water line directly into the valve where it will lock into place. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
