This Electric Range Broil Element is located at the top of the oven and provides constant heat to the broiler when cooking. If your broiler does not heat up properly, the element may be shorted out and will need to be replaced. To access the existing part, you'll need to remove the oven racks. The element is attached to the top of the oven with a bracket and screws. Replacing the element will require basic hand tools or repair experience. Remember to unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
