The Top Load Washer Temperature Switch allows you to select the temperature of the water that enters the tub during the cleaning cycle. If this switch fails, you may notice that the incorrect temperature of water too cold or too hot is filling into the wash tub. Note that this part does not include the temperature switch knob, but you can purchase it separately. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.
