This Electric Range Oven Broil Element is a replacement part with 1/4 push-on wire terminals that provides constant heat to the broiler when cooking. If your broiler does not heat up properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Reuse the existing support bracket for the element if your oven has one when installing this part. Replacing the element will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the oven and novice repair experience. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
