The Front Load Washer Temperature Sensor monitors and helps regulate the water temperature. To access the existing sensor, remove the front bottom panel of the washer and unplug the harness that goes into the sensor. Once the existing sensor is removed, you may want to consider replacing the gasket at the same time. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. You must also shut off the washer's hot and cold water supplies.
