The Gas Range Temperature Control Thermostat establishes and maintains the internal temperature of the oven cavity. If your oven temperature isn't staying constant, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Located in the control panel, the thermostat is a liquid-filled bulb that maintains the overall cycling heat. To access the part, you'll remove the top panel of the range, the racks inside the range and the oven door.
