WPW10653840 Whirlpool Door Latch

The Black Dishwasher Door Latch Assembly is located inside the dishwasher on the door, behind the door panel. This part replaces both white and biscuit color latches. To gain access to the door latch, the inner door panel must be separated by removing the inner door screws. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience.
