To access the part, you'll need to remove the large back panel of the dryer, then remove the wires and 1/4 screw that holds the old thermostat into its housing.This part has the following specifications: 3 terminal L140-20F. This means it has a limit of 140 degrees fahrenheit, and that it will cut out when it reaches this temperature. It kicks back in when the temperature drops by 20 degrees fahrenheit.
