ASME EXPANSION TANK, 45 GALLONS

The WTTA Thermal Expansion Tank is used on hot water systems for protection against thermal expansion. All WTTA Tank Models are ASME fixed bladder type, ideal for both commercial and industrial applications. As the system pressure increases from thermal expansion, water enters the bladder of the tank, expanding into the pre-charge air chamber to keep the system pressure below the relief valve setting. Materials include a carbon steel outer shell, stainless steel system connection, and FDA approved butyl rubber bladder. The WTTA conforms to all lead-free requirements and can be used on drinking water systems.
