Designed for use in remote areas where power is not available or where drum volume is low, the 18" adjustable ratchet (left or right hand operation) uses mechanical advantages to minimize operator effort and risk of back strain. Opener cuts on the inside of the rolled edge, leaving a safer, burr-free edge and a strong chime for future reuse of the drum. Inside chime cut is appropriate for nearly all industrial applications. Unit clears all bungs and can be used to remove the tops and bottoms of all 30 and 55 gallon 16 gauge steel drums. Features a 3.64" diameter non-ferrous beryllium copper cutting wheel for use with drums containing hazardous materials. Replacement cutter wheel kits are available to keep your opener running like new.
