Description
XTRweldTM Lanthanated Tungsten Electrodes deliver premium performance and versatility for TIG (GTAW) welding professionals. These electrodes combine exceptional arc stability, low burnoff rates, and excellent reignition characteristics. Their conductivity closely resembles that of thoriated electrodes, making them a popular, non-radioactive alternativeoften with no need to adjust existing welding programs. Ideal for both AC and DC welding, lanthanated tungsten performs well with a pointed tip for DCEN or can be balled for use with AC sine wave machines.
- Enhanced arc starting and stability with low burnoff rates
- High conductivity similar to 2% thoriated tungsten
- Suitable for both AC and DC welding applications
- Compatible with inverter and square wave power sources
- Works well on steel, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloys
