Description

Containing thorium oxide evenly dispersed throughout the electrode, these electrodes maintain a sharpened point longer than other types, resulting in excellent arc starts and control. With tungsten's exceptional hardness and a melting point of 3,410°C, thoriated electrodes perform reliably under high heat while minimizing electrode consumption.
