Zinsser HIDZ is a multi-purpose, interior/exterior primer that is great for use on multiple surfaces like drywall, cured plaster, paneling, new and previously painted wood (including exterior plywood and T1-11), concrete, masonry, brick, stucco, trim, clean galvanized or painted metal, glossy laminates and more. This primer and sealer is ideal for hiding previous colors and sealing porous surfaces. It blocks common stains like crayon and oily handprints and provides excellent adhesion on even hard to paint surfaces. Zinsser HIDZ is perfect for remodeling especially where transitions of new and existing work meet. It is guaranteed to work with any architectural topcoat paint.
