Our Filter Gasket fits the April Aire cabinets slot, so the filter slides into place preventing dirty air bypass found in other models. Much easier to install and replace! Gasket measures 3/8" on top and bottom. This deep pleated Media Air Cleaner delivers MERV 11 rated filter efficiency, delivers the lowest pressure resistance/pressure drop, highest dust holding capacity, and longest service life, which provides cleaner air to breathe and improved HVAC system efficiency via cleaner components. This filter is constructed with a synthetic media that delivers high filtering efficiency. A MERV 11-rated Allergen filter captures 85% or better of particles between the sizes of 3.0 and 10 microns including dust, mold spores, allergens, pet dander and bacteria from sneezes and provides additional protection against smoke, smog, or automobile exhaust fumes that may seep in from the garage.
