Description

The ZORO SELECT - PS-NYLB-218 is a Sheet Stock plastic sheet, intended for use in various applications, including industrial. Constructed with Nylon 6/6 material, this black opaque sheet comes in the nominal size of 12 inches width by 24 inches length and has a thickness of 0.063". This raw material may be manipulated to fit specific project needs.

  • Material: The sheet is constructed with Nylon 6/6, a material often recognized for qualities such as potential strength and possible resistance to certain conditions like heat and chemicals.
  • Machinability: Considered good. This suggests the possibility of being cut or shaped with appropriate tools. It does not guarantee prevention of damage to the product or equipment used.
  • Operating Temperature Range: Rated for operation within temperature ranges of -40 Degrees F to 210 Degrees F. Performance may vary based on environmental conditions.
  • Tensile Strength: Has a tensile strength rating at approximately 12,500 psi; this suggests potential suitability under certain levels of stress but does not guarantee against breakage under all circumstances.
  • Friction Rating: Possesses a low friction coefficient rated at approximately .02; compatibility will depend upon specific application requirements.
  • Water Absorption Rating: Has a water absorption rate of approximately 0.3%; this may impact performance in environments with significant moisture exposure.
