ZymoTaq DNA Polymerase is a hot-start polymerase that is ideal for amplification of bisulfite-converted DNA. Because it is a heat-activated, thermostable DNA polymerase, ZymoTaq reduces primer dimer and nonspecific product formation, whereas conventional polymerases typically exhibit these problems with bisulfite-converted DNA templates. In addition to the amplification of bisulfite-treated DNA for methylation detection, ZymoTaq DNA polymerase can also be used for conventional PCR, and real time PCR. The enzyme also has 3-terminal transferase activity, making it ideal for use in TA-cloning by the addition of "A" overhangs to amplified DNA.Hot start DNA Polymerase for robust product formation.
