This AC WORKS brand protective adapter (model SS2CB620) is a heavy‐duty 1.5‐foot NEMA SS2‐50P to NEMA 6‐15/20R industrial adapter cable designed for safe power distribution from 50‐amp twist‐lock outlets. It features a NEMA SS2‐50P 50‐amp, 125/250‐volt 4‐wire locking male plug connected to a NEMA 6‐15/20R 20‐amp, 250‐volt T‐blade female connector. To address customer concerns about plugging lower‐amperage equipment into a 50‐amp outlet, this adapter includes a built‐in 20‐amp circuit breaker. The breaker is engineered to trip automatically when more than 20 amps are drawn, protecting connected HVAC units, tools, and industrial equipment from overload conditions.
