Description

The UH350 is a new class of HDMI/USB camera. With the options of working standalone with an HDMI monitor or television, and as a computer-driven USB camera, it offers great flexibility. The HDMI interface provides a 1080p live view with on-screen imaging controls for capturing photos up to 3.5MP, and 720p video onto MicroSD media (cards sold separately). The USB port can be used for power only with the included AC adapter, or for computer-connectivity. While the camera is designed primarily to be used as a standalone imaging device, we offer Windows software for basic photo and video acquisition.


The camera's focus knob controls internal mechanism which shifts the flange-focal-distance, allowing for a wide range of working-distances and variable field-of-view. While the focus-adjustment is perfectly compatible with various compound and stereo microscopes, and may add some flexibility, only a limited portion of its focal-range can be used while remaining parfocal with eyepieces. This camera is ideally suited for monocular inspection microscopes which can benefit from the extreme focal-range.


The camera uses a standard C-mount interface for microscopes and lenses. For use with 23mm-30.5mm photo-ports or ocular-ports, an optional 0.37X reduction lens would be ideal.
