The ASCO 8222G002 is a pilot-operated, 2-way/2-position solenoid valve designed for controlling the flow of steam. It features a brass body with PTFE seals and is rated for high-temperature steam service up to 353°F. The valve operates within an ambient temperature range of 14°F to 140°F and has a nominal pipe size of 1/2 inch with NPTF inlet and outlet connections. It comes with an integrated coil compatible with 120V AC power at 50/60 Hz and a wattage rating of 17.1 W. The valve is normally closed by default.
