The ASCO 8220G409 is a pilot-operated, 2-way solenoid valve designed for controlling hot water and steam flow in various fluid systems. Constructed with a brass body and featuring diaphragm valve design, it operates with a normally closed configuration. This valve provides automated flow control by energizing an included coil to actuate the diaphragm, operating with hot water up to 210°F and steam up to 353°F. It is suited for use in environments with ambient temperatures ranging from 14°F to 140°F.
