The ASCO 8262H262 is a 2-way, 2-position normally open direct acting solenoid valve constructed with a brass body. Suitable for use with air, inert gases, light oil, and water. The valve includes an coil and seal. Suitable for both horizontal or vertical mounting orientations, it operates within an ambient temperature range down to -13°F and can accommodate fluid temperatures up to 180°F. Its coil enclosure IP66; NEMA 4, 4X enclosures are rated for indoor/outdoor use in environments conforming to those ratings.
