SQ032003B is a panel mount or DIN rail mount 40 Amp 3 pole rotary disconnect switch that is suitable as a motor disconnect up to 20 horsepower. This compact rotary disconnect switch features the option for direct mounting to a panel or quick and easy Snap-On mounting to standard DIN rail. Reliable opening and closing of power circuits are accomplished due to the double break slow opening contacts. The 4th pole with early make contact and auxiliary contacts are optional accessories for this 40A rotary disconnect. Several types of actuator handles and knobs are available including models that accept up to 3 padlocks for lockable disconnect switch applications. The easy to wire screw clamp wire terminations on this 40A 3 pole motor disconnect switch is rated for 12 to 8 AWG wire and optional terminal insulators are available. This robust panel mount nonfusible 40 amp rotary disconnect switch has a mechanical life of over 100,000 cycles and has a UL508 general use rating of 600Vac, 40-amps.
