To determine the appropriate chandelier size for your space, measure the length and width of the room in feet and add the two together. This sum represents the ideal diameter of the chandelier in inches.

A flush mount chandelier is mounted directly to the ceiling, while a semi-flush mount chandelier hangs slightly below the ceiling. Semi-flush mount chandeliers are a good option for rooms with lower ceilings, as they provide more headroom.

The type of light bulbs you use in your chandelier depends on the fixture's specifications. Most chandeliers use LED, incandescent, or fluorescent bulbs, so be sure to check the manufacturer's recommendations before purchasing bulbs.

To clean a chandelier, first remove the light bulbs and dust the fixture with a soft cloth. Next, create a cleaning solution by mixing warm water with a mild dish soap and gently wipe down the chandelier with a damp cloth dipped in the solution. Finally, rinse the chandelier with a clean, damp cloth and dry it thoroughly with a soft towel.
