The CHICAGO-LATROBE 69871 is a jobber-length drill bit set consisting of 15 cobalt drill bits sized from 1/16 inch to 1/2 inch in fractional increments. These drill bits are made from cobalt and are suitable for use when machining aluminum, cast iron, hardened steel, stainless steel, steel, and titanium (user to select appropriate speeds and feeds). The set includes a metal index case for organized storage and features a P3 split point with a 135-degree angle for starting accuracy. The drill bits have a 2-flute spiral design with right-hand cutting direction and a titanium nitride (TiN) coating for wear resistance.
