The coupling employs an industrial interchange type and a sleeve locking mechanism to lock the sleeve mechanism to hold the connection. Its use spans pneumatic, hydraulic, and general fluid transfer applications. The fitting is constructed of steel with a zinc-plated finish and includes nitrile seals to maintain fluid tightness over a temperature range of -40°F to 250°F.
