About Draft Booster Motors
Rather than risk the hazard of combustion gases lingering from negative airflow pressures, ensure proper exhaust and positive ventilation flow with a draft booster motor (AKA a draft inducer). Draft booster motors, usually the first thing to kick on when you turn up your thermostat, get the flow moving in the right direction. In some cases, they are used to help push combustion gases up furnace chimneys. Products vary by fractional horsepower, voltage, RPM, shaft diameter and other considerations. For more small electric motors, see our 3.3 Inch diameter motors.
