FOOT MASTER engineers invented the ORIGINAL leveling caster in 1989, setting the standard for performance and durability. This ingenious product combines the mobility of a caster, the height adjustability of a level mount, and the stability of a foot pad.
The SGDN Series offers stainless steel leveling casters for harsh environments. A thick SS frame is used to achieve the combination of being both strong and compact. SGDN-80-S-NYN-1/2 is rated at 550 kg with an overall height of 103 mm. Up to 15 mm of height adjustment capability is available for an accurate level set. SGDN-80-S-NYN-1/2 is mounted using a SS 1/2"-13 threaded set screw (INCLUDED).
The swivel section contains 2 sets of SS ball bearings for easy maneuverability, as well as hardened SS bearing raceway sleeves to prevent scouring. All components are completely corrosion resistant, leading to high performance and dependable reliability.
Moving is easy thanks to a 63 mm diameter wheel mated with a SS axle shaft. And once positioned, the caster provides rear access to an ABS thermoplastic thumbwheel used to lower the foot pad. As the wheel is lifted off the ground, the foot pad takes over to make the application completely stationary.
Making the fine adjustments to achieve the perfect level set, even under heavy loads, is light work for this world renowned leveling caster. When it is time to move again, simply raise the foot pad to restore the freedom of mobility.
