This General Electric Oven Bake Element is designed to fit many GE, Hotpoint and Kenmore Ovens. This bake element is a black tube that winds around the bottom of the oven. When your oven is working correctly, the bake element glows red. Electric bake elements usually last for several years. If your element is not glowing red when you turn on the oven, replacing it will most likely fix your problem.
