Gizmo Engineering ILK-PF is a heavy-duty IBC Tank Low Level Alarm designed specifically for monitoring chemical levels in Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC). This model is an inalarm only in configuration, meaning it does not include a liquid suction or feed pipe, focusing strictly on providing critical level alerts to prevent process interruptions. Core Functionality & Alerts When liquid levels fall below the preset sensing point, the ILK-PF triggers two high-visibility alerts: Audible Warning: A loud, 103dB warbling buzzer that is designed to be heard even in noisy industrial environments. Visual Warning: A bright, flashing LED light that provides an immediate visual status indicator. Key Specifications Construction: Built with a polypropylene pipe and float switch for superior chemical resistance. The unit also utilizes PVC enclosure for durability. Mounting: Features a 2-inch NPS plug that fits standard IBC tank ports. Working Depth: The standard unit provides a working depth of 51 inches. Power: Operates on a lithium battery (included), ensuring the device is always active even during power outages. Durability & Chemical Compatibility The ILK-PF is engineered for harsh, corrosive, and wet environments, carrying an IP65 ingress protection rating. It is compatible with a wide range of industrial chemicals, including: Acids: Hydrochloric (conc.), Nitric (30%), and Sulfuric (up to 98%). Bases: Sodium HydroXide (50%) and Aqueous Ammonia. Others: Sodium Hypochlorite, various oils, and aqueous solutions up to 100 degC. Note that this model is not compatible with highly concentrated Sulfuric Acid (>90%), Lactic Acid, concentrated Peracetic Acid, or Ketones.
