XWFE Refrigerator Water Filter for GE(with chip)

The Glacier Fresh GF-XWF PLUS is a replacement refrigerator water filter for GE XWFE and XWF filtration systems, supplying filtered drinking water and ice from the refrigerator dispenser. GE refrigerators built for the XWFE use an RFID chip to authenticate the filter; this cartridge is built for those chip-equipped systems. The cartridge uses renewable coconut shell activated carbon media with a 0.5 micron rating and is certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 372 for reduction of chlorine taste and odor and lead. Rated service life is 200 gallons or 6 months. Operating range is 33 to 100 °F and 30 to 100 psi at a rated flow of 0.5 gpm. The cartridge measures 6.1 in L x 2.2 in W x 1.93 in H. It replaces GE XWFE, GE XWF. Supplied as a single cartridge.
