This workbench protects equipment from harmful static. It has a 1-1/4in thick conductive white plastic top. The workbench is ideal for controlling static electricity. It prevents damage to sensitive electronic circuitry during assembly. The properly grounded work surface rapidly bleeds off static build-up and prevents damage to sensitive electronic circuitry during assembly. It dissipates 5000V static charge in 0.01 sec with surface resistance of 1010 Ω. The workbench is easy to clean with soap and water. The static dissipation complies with MIL-B81705B and 101B, 101C, Method 4046. It also has a riser shelf that provides added work space. The riser shelf measures 10-1/2inD x 12inH with a 2inH backstop to prevent items from falling. Its 5-3/8inH steel drawer features a safety stop to prevent accidental spilling. The drawer has 2 mounting angle brackets for easy workbench installation on either the left or right hand side. This workbench has a recessed handle with padlockable hasp for added security lock sold separately. An adjustable height bench stringer comes with mounting hardware to assemble legs to the bench top. The legs feature removable duplex knockouts on front and rear for installation of either a hard wired electrical outlet or an optional plug-in outlet that easily screws into place with no wiring necessary. The bench stringer comes with mounting hardware to assemble legs to the bench top. Its legs are finished with scratch-resistant gray powder coat. This workbench is easy to assemble.
