Description
The Greenlee 555C Electric Bender Classic is an industrial power tool intended for bending 1/2" to 2" conduit and pipe. Constructed with a heavy-duty steel frame and weighing approximately 260 lbs without attachments, it is designed for both vertical and horizontal bending operations. The unit is powered by a 120 VAC, 20 amp universal motor and utilizes a twist-lock plug for secure power connection.
Performance and Capability:
- Conduit Capacity: Bends 1/2" to 2" Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT), Intermediate Metallic Conduit (IMC), Rigid Conduit, PVC-Coated Rigid Conduit, and Schedule 40 Pipe .
- Mechanical Drive: Features a gear box filled with 26 fluid ounces of oil and a #60 HT final drive chain for high-torque output.
- Control System: Operated via a hand-held pendant switch that allows for both BEND and UNLOAD (reverse) functions. Construction and Portability:
